how to replace the multi function switch on my 2004 optima kia...any demonstration/illustrations will be appreciated

Multi-Function Switch - Removal & Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the steering wheel, as outlined earlier in this section.
Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.

Fig. Remove the steering column upper (A) and lower shrouds (B)
Detach the multi-function switch electrical connector(s).

Fig. Detach the multi-function switch (A) electrical connector(s)
Remove the 3 bolts, as shown, then remove the multi-function switch assembly (B).
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
