It probably means the disc it scratched or dirty. Try misting the disc with tap water, then dab it off with a soft cloth. Repeat this process a few times for best results. Alternatively, it could be due to region locking, it which case there's not a lot you can do :(

Just an Idea to open it, use a pocket knife pry and press the button, afterwords take the cover off and plug it back in and press the open button and watch the gears see if its a ggear jam or something electrical with it.

As you know the freeze is commong problem in the x360. Unplug it by 30 minutes, for overheating.2)put the xbox360 in place where plainty of aire for vents.3) If the problem continue , call to Micrsofoft, they know very well the problem from hardware problem, they replace some hardware critical.sincerely.
