If your watch is a genuine Cartier, then you don't need to ask what battery it takes - you risk damaging the watch (at least cosmetically) and therefore devaluing it if you attempt to change the battery yourself. Take it to a professional, or reputable outlet to have them change the battery for you (ask them the battery type afterwards if you really want to know).

Cartier lighter- does not hold the flame. Big problem? Please help?? Thank you.
Try bleeding the tank. This is done by pressing on the gas valve to empty the tank. Be careful doing this. Search YouTube for bleeding a lighter for more info. Then fill the lighter. Manipulate the flame adjustment (varies according to model) to see if you can get a good flame. If that doesn't work, take off the bottom plate and remove the gas tank (Don't do this on a non-Cartier lighter--Cartier lighters have user removable tanks). The top of the tank should be on a knurled nut that can be turned. Try turning it a little and reassemble the lighter. If this doesn't work, you may have to send the lighter to Cartier at the Richemont Technical Center in Texas. But that may be a costly solution.
