don1421's answer is not going to work because it's not possible to remove the back of an Ebel Classic Wave. It may need to be sent to LVMH for repair.

After removing the 5 screws and the glass with seal, put your screw driver und the opposite edge to the winder. By carefull lifting,(do not force) you will find the inner watch assembly lifts out enough. to access the battery. The winder spindle has a joint in it which allows the body to bend on it to almost 90 degrees.
