I am trying to replace

I am trying to replace the regulator on a  Uniflame Gas Grill the end of the hose is attached under inside the control panel  and is impossible to get to.I have had the grill for some time. I am able to see the hose end but am unable to fit any normal tool in the small space to loosen and replace the hose

Hello,
Needless to say that any work on gas equipment should be left to qualified personnel, especially if the device is for indoor use. Still, I guess you did not posted just to read this warning. If possible, please provide pictures.
