How do I remove the printing of the conversations on my tv

It will depend on the TV and the source. If you are using the tuner in the TV, look for a CC button on your remote. This should let you toggle the captioning off. (Some TVs have options of CC On, CC On when Muted, and CC Off.)

On some TVs this can also be reached through the On Screen Menu (press Menu on the TV or remote). Then look for a Setup, Settings or Options menu. Then look for Captions and turn them off.

If you are using a universal remote that has a Closed Caption button that doesn't work for your device, it could be a code mismatch. Check if there are other codes for your device manufacturer and try using them to get all the features of the TV controlled by the remote.

If your source is a set top box (satellite, DVD player, cable), then you may need to disable the captions through the settings of the box. (Again try the menus.)

There is an exception. If the source is one that is using Open Captions, then the Captions will remain on.
