U61 error problem

Hi My name is Brian and i was reading about your error problem cause i have the same thing. Did you ever figure it out? Thanks please let me know ok it's driving me crazy. privatepilot1024@yahoo.com

    thanks if tried your suggestions also and got nothing. I think i will have to break down and get a new dvd player. Brian

The manual refers to the U61 as being a recovery mode. Have you left it at U61 for a period of time while it tries to recover?
U61 ≥There was a power failure or the AC plug was disconnected while the unit was on. The unit is
carrying out its recovery process. This process restores the unit to normal operation. The unit is not
broken. Wait until the message disappears.
You could always try to force it into standby mode and back out again:
Press [í/I, POWER] on the main unit to switch the unit to standby.
Now press [í/I, POWER] on the main unit again to turn the unit on.
If that doesn't take care of it, everything thing I've found points toward a replacement of components inside the system by a repair service. Hopefully you are still under warranty!
