I keep getting error when i put my r4i card in and tells me to turn power off

Hi Ray,

You may well be using a fake R4i card, and you probably updated the software on your Nintendo DS and now it won't read it. This is normal for most clone cards since they can't actually be updated to use Nintendo's latest firmware.

The real R4i card has manufacturers website www.r4i-sdhc.com, NOWHERE ELSE. Check yours to see if it is this website. If it isn't, and you need a genuine one in the US/Canada, use DSCardWorld.com who are a preferred seller of the authentic ones. They also list NDS-Gear.com but I think they mainly do UK/European orders.
