SOURCE: Ubuntu doesn't see internet/router

Hvae you tried setting tie network manually in Ubuntu?
Network Manager is used in many sections of this guide - you can find it:

  1. In SystemAdministrationNetwork
  2. In the Notification Area. Its icon resembles two computer screens on top of each other, or a wireless signal indicator if you are connected to a wireless network.
Connecting using Wireless in Network Manager Network Manager (SystemAdministrationNetwork) supports Roaming mode. This allows you to connect to any available wireless network in range.
  1. In the Taskbar click the Network Manager icon.
  2. Select your wireless network from the list.
  3. Enter your Network Key.
  4. Click Connect.
Connecting to a hidden network
  1. Left click the Network Manager icon in the system tray.
  2. ClickConnect to Hidden Wireless Network
  3. In the network name text box enter the ESSID you are connecting to.
  4. Select the type of security used from the drop down list.
  5. Click Connect.
This section is about setting up an ADSL Internet connection using an ethernet PPPoE modem.
You will require a subscription with an Internet Service Provider, and an installed, functional Internet connection. Most modems have a light which will be lit if it is currently connected to the Internet. You will also need your username and password for the Internet account.
Setting up PPPoE To set up the modem:
  1. Open a terminal (ApplicationsAccessoriesTerminal)
  2. In the terminal, type
    sudo pppoeconf
  3. A text-based menu program will guide you through the following steps:
    1. Confirm that your Ethernet card is detected.
    2. Enter your username.
    3. Enter your password.
    4. If you already have a PPPoE Connection configured, you will be asked if it may be modified.
    5. Popular options: you are asked if you want the “noauth” and “defaultroute” options and to remove “nodetach”. Choose Yes.
    6. Use peer DNS - choose Yes.
    7. Limited MSS problem - choose Yes.
    8. When you are asked if you want to connect at start up, you will probably want to say yes.
    9. Finally you are asked if you want to establish the connection immediately.
  4. Once you have finished these steps, your connection should be working.
Starting the connection To start your ADSL connection on demand, in a terminal (ApplicationsAccessoriesTerminal) type:
sudo pon dsl-provider Stopping the connection To stop your ADSL connection, in a terminal (ApplicationsAccessoriesTerminal) type:
sudo poff dsl-provider Hope this helps. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

SOURCE: hi, i need solution with

I assume this is not a problem with your router, sounds like a software problem to me instead. There's a number of things you can try. First of all, empty your browser's cache and try again. Most of the time this will get rid of similar problems.
