I think you have a bad lens. you can adjust the lens by opening your player and removing the disk tray. you will find two very small screw head at the bottom of the lens. you need to adjust them by turning them little by little 1 by 1 with a precision screw. and see if it reads any disk during each turn. if you have the cash you can just replace the lens with a new one.
