Unit was shipped by owner with no problems noted before shipping. Upon arrival, everything appears to be working however, I get only faint sound from speakers turned up at max. Also, clicking heard when unit is powered on and off. Any help is appreciated. Also is it normal for the unit to power on by use of the selector knob?
You may not be using an active input to test. Try attaching an fm antenna and using the tuner. Sone inputs are set to digial and will not make sound with the analog input. The input selector does turn it on. Saves a step.
