I am in the process of replacing both the keypad and control module for my GE Profile Wall Oven to rid myself of the F7 dilemma. I am experiencing some difficulty however in removing the old keypad and am wondering if I will need to pull the entire oven out in order to do so.

No you do not need to pull the entire oven. If I knew the model number I could give you specific instructions. You can go to www.partselect.com and put in your model number and you will find diagrams that will help you open up the beast.
