Makes strange sound when i start my photo rx500 then i get the red error light.then says printer error.then say see your documentation and call service if nessary
OFF the printer.open the top cover whole scanner unit .then look at the black base where usually cartridge moves when the printer is ON when you give printouts..press that black base and it will move little bit down .that whole black base comes little bit up due to some reason and when the cartridge holder moves from left to right for its internal allignments/adjustments it clashes that part somewhere and make such noices.and gives the service error..just press that whole 7- 8 inches base where the cartridge moves slowly ,carefully and firmly.then ON the printer and check.do it again if it does not becomes ok after first time.
