hello, please make sure the magicbrite option is not set to "dynamic contrast" as this will change the contrast levels by itself, change the settings by pressing the down arrow touch key on the monitor, change it to any other setting, game mode is blinding on my one (when the monitor works, but thats another story!!!) good luck with samsung customer care centre 0870SAMSUNG (uk)

Native resolution for this monitor is 1280x1024@60Hz. You will get 'out of range' or 'format not supported' if the video resolution from PC is too high for the monitor to display.

THE PROBLEM IS SOME DIRTY ON CONTACT BUTTONS
TURN OFF THE MONITOR AND APLY SOME CONTACT CLEANER SPRAY ON BUTTONS, PRESSING THEY REPEATEDLY SEVERAL TIMES.
