Boot problem Hi Expert, I have an IBM ThinkPad T40 2379 Laptop, Windows XP, Professional. After turning the computer on, it doesn't boot. Pressing the blue IBM key on the keyboard or the F2 key it doesn't help either. The screen remains dark, the drives don't work. Only the fan makes noise. After trying several times, sometimes I got lucky. I can work normally. But after a while the screen becomes frozen, nothing works the clock stand still. Did the HD almost crashed?
