Many problems in my recently bought Transcend 8GB pendrive when I connect it to any PC. The details are given below-
1. I'm not able to copy or delete any files/folders to it (or) from it. It alerts that the disk cannot be written to because it is write protected. It's happening 70% times, not always.
2. I'm not able to format it also. . It alerts that the disk cannot be written to because it is write protected. It's happening 70% times, not always.
3. Sometimes I’m allowed to cut/copy/delete/format it after trying so many times. So trying and waiting for the action.
4. I’m able to make a new folder and rename also. But not able to delete it. Very interesting that automatically a file (namely- USBC╚δ╬ä.; USBC╚3╔ä.; USBChñä.) is being created inside those folder immediately upon creation which is showing a huge size around 1.98GB to 3.36GB, but the actual size is not being occupied if I check its properties.
I bought it in last January 2009 from an authorized computer shop in SP market (Bangalore, India) with receipt copy. So it’s under warranty period. Hence, request to solve the problem and help me out.
