PS3 Problem

Question

my friends ps3 gave 2 me cause he went to states the ps3 has no video and sound i do lots of reseting methods but no one is work. the motherboard does not have a problem or don't have failure issues... what should i do ps3 is no longer have a ''warranty'' PLEASE  any one can FIX this problem......... TNX
