After following the previous advice of unstalling Roxio & VSO and reinstalling VSO not working, I uninstalled the Drive and rebooted and now am getting 2 more error codes here are all 3 that I get:
1. Write Error at 352 (16) 04 08 03 [HW Error Logical Unit Communication CRC Error in Ultra DMA/32 Check cables
2. 6 / 29 / 03 BUS DEVICE RESET FUNCTION OCCURRED
3. Lens Dirty
I have easily burned over 1500 DVDs on this drive over the past 2 years along with many Data & Audio CDs. Also, lately the discs have seemed a lot hotter than usual when they eject after burning. Is it just time to put this drive out to pasture? Or, are these symptoms of something else going on in my system?
Any ideas on a good replacement drive if needed that not too expensive?
