Magellan does offer updates but be careful as I have seen it mess up a few units where it was tried--what is the issue?

go to garmin online offical site, they provide a couple of programs u can download, that will install the updates for u, but u have to pay for some of the updates.

Need software update
Usually you have to go to the manufacture web site and support or downloads, download most current maps save on computer and use that file to load on device. Some may charge for this upgrade. Follow their instructions for installing the new software.

Error message "PND needs to be updated" means the software version of your GPS is lower than 4.93. To update the maps of your GPS, please update the software first by visiting the link below:

I last updated my GPS in 2009 and I would like to update it now. Where do I go to do this. I am not updatting the maps. I am looking to update any updates for free.
Magellan has withdrawn from European PND market, but have partnered with Mio (http://eu.mio.com) to offer a Trade In towards a new Mio device.
