Download the updated version of the Philips Device Manager from www.usasupport.philips.com

Once you have downloaded the latest version, run the "Update" function in the Device Manager, and it will upgrade your player's firmware. It will solve most DB corruption issues.

i also have the same problem of device/database error....but i already have the latest firmware...what should i do/?=(
