Recently i experiences the error code for the ps3 which involves the blu ray drive failing (Error Code 80010514) .. i rang sony up and they have sent me a new ps3 which i now have, however i'm worried that this will happen again with my new ps3 if i try to play a blu ray disc on it ?
does anybody know if the new ps3s sony are sending out are guaranteed for this problem never to happen again

The problem should not happen again. but with all equipment with a disc drive, it is possible that the disc drive will fail and need to be replaced.the ps3 is just another computer and there are no garuntees
