The wep code

I hav the instillation cd but i dont know how to ket the wep code off it!can you help me!!

You can usually erase WEP keys off of a wireless router by doing a full reset. This usually involves holding the reset button for up to a minute and turning the router on and off. The method varies from router to router.

You can sometimes find this information in the user manual. If you post the model of the router I may be able to tell you what you need to do to reset it.

    I really need to learn to check above the title for these things...



    Anyway, all Belkin routers have a button on them somewhere (usually the back) that will set them back to factory settings. You need to hold this down for at least 10 seconds. This should reset everything including encryption. Keep in mind this will also reset things like port forwarding.
