After full system restore finger touch doesn't work. Pen works fine. Installed SW Update and all drivers/software updates have been done. Tablet works fine, except for finger touch does nothing. Anyone have any ideas? Seems like a driver issue to me but I guess it could be a setting somewhere. Again, pen works, just not fingers.
1st You download Webcam Driver.
Finger touch
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Bummer that no one knows. I've tried Samsung but their support (actually the ability to get an answer from them) isn't all that great. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a setting or driver. Of course I've updated everything, Samsung and MS. Pen works great, Windows works great, just doesn't recognize finger touch. Absolutely no response when touching the screen. Guess I'm stuck using the pen. To recap the issue, I upgraded to Win8, couldn't get the touch working so I restored the slate back to factory using the CD that came with it. Still no finger touch....
