After 5 months of purchase,i can hear a beep sound from my 500G CRT monitor at the time of statrtup.i informed lg,the serviceman told me it is becoz the flap inside it ,became dusty.he cleaned it.but the problem persisted.it was not too noisy, so they ignored it.later one day,my screen showed white screen with stripes.but in the background i can see the desktop.i informed Lg .they told me to unplug the signal cord from CPU.at that time,monitor displayed ''self diagnostic mode,check signal cable'' with black color in the background.So they told it was a problem with cpu.there were no problem till about 6 months,and now it came back.i removed signal cable,but the white screen with stripes ,persisted.the problem was worse than before,i can see nothing.too bright screen.but we can hear windows loading sound.so it should not be CPU problem .What i''l do. My guarentee expires this june
