How to record answer message

you should have an asdl filter that you hook up to your modem but what they dont tell you is that you also need to fit one to the incoming box (where the phone line comes into your house) just plug the asdl filter into the hole in the wall and plug the phone line into the asdl filters corrisponding socket and that will stop it cutting off the broadband i had to do this as well and now when the phone is answered the broadband stays on. hope this helps.
