drive missing

System says "drive missing" while the drive is actually there. Raid is degraded.

Drive will start re-synchronizing with other disk on power-up, comes to 90% and then turns "missing" again.

This error may indicate one of the several HD's that are in a Raid configuration is not spooling up or has corrupt data preventing a full startup. When it says "drive missing" that simply indicates inability to communicate with the drive.
