SOURCE: opening pps messages

Hi nati662992,

pps files are Microsoft PowerPoint slideshows.

Because Powerpoint is part of the Microsoft Office package, you would think that you would have to purchase Microsoft Office to view .pps files. This is not so. You can download the free PowerPoint viewer from here:

http://www.download.com/PowerPoint-Viewer-2007/3000-18483_4-10742145.html

Install that and reboot.
Then open the email again and it will automatically open with Powerpoint Viewer. Or it will ask you what program you want to open it with, and you click the PowerPoint Viewer .exe icon, and tick the 'Always open with this Program?' box.

Good Luck and Season's Greetings to you!

SOURCE: I want to save photos from a pps file but don't know how to do it

Good afternoon. Open the pps file and right click on the picture. You will have an option to save as picture. Once selected, name the file and the file location. Also you will have an option to save as a jpp file.

Right click on a pps file you have, choose Properties and check Opens With to see that Power Point Viewer is the default program to open it with.If it's not PPT Viewer use the change button to change the default.
