It's just something that I want to try because this computer has given me endless booting problems. For no apparent reason, every 3 or 4 weeks, when I start up, I get a blue screen telling me that Windows could not start because this or that file was corrupt. I only use this machine for light office work and e-mail - no games. So I just wanted to turn off hyperthreading to see if this would help.
