Service program sp-9, mode 90 needs to be set to "0"(off). also, the key counter shorting connector must be removed.

that should disable any key counters.

on the left of the op panel, there should be 2 covers to remove. underneath, there is a dip switch. with the power off, change sw 902 bit 8 to "0". when you turn the power back on, the guidance display will prompt No. 5.

you should now press "9" "0" "enter(#)". "1" should show up in the display. select "0" "enter(#)". this will disable user code mode. after this is done, shut the power off.

before turning the power back on, you will also have to remove the key counter shorting connector, it is located under the right hand side of the op panel. ther should be 2 plugs dangling. one appears to have a cap on it, remove it. the other will then plug into it after you have removed the shorting plug.

this should now work properly for you.
