I have a Zenith remote. The only # on it is CL015. I know this is not the right # but it is the only one there is. It looks most like aBZEN280. It does not have a search button on it. I have lost the instructions on how to program it and can't remember. I thought you pushed the setup button until the LED stayed one then pushed the button of the appliance you wanted to program then the # of the appliance then the on/off button to make sure you got it right. That is not it. I have tried..........help me!!!Please!!!!!!
If you have already tried codes 200 through 217 (inclusive) listed in the manual, then try 001 and 039 for the DirecTV box. I do not own a Jumbo remote but I have heard that the Jumbo will not control the newer DirecTV receivers. The Jumbo was probably intended to be more of a basic remote rather than a serious Home Theatre style remote which will control everything.

Because I cannot switch from tv to video 1, I can't watch dvd's. Remote seems to have light blue function keys but I can't access them.
I have kind of the same problem but with programming Toshiba HD-DVD Player. I have tried to program my Samsung LN-S4695D remote control. I also had problem to program my Samsung LN-S4695D remote control to operate my home theatre JVC THM505S.
The way I have to set up my remote control is to press DVD, then SET, and input the three digit number.I have tried all codes beginning 000 to 141 and nothing worked.
