I have a problem with tracert command on my XP. On your home pc you need to check you firewall or you anti virus settings disable both of them if you have both activated thne reboot your home pc and give it a go. its is normaly spy ware or security software that causes a tracert to time out.

well look at how you explained it in the first instance you had no mention of yourself ringing your ISP.............as far as not being able to do the same at home is because you can only do it in DOS........if your running WinXP the DOS command can be bought about by going to run typing CMD....then you can trace whatever your doing while your logged on (at home?)

It is problem for me.
I call to my ISP and report problem with particualr service.
ISP asked me to send tracert output...
But i can not...

(Sure I run it by going to run typing CMD)
