When power is turned on screen goes to "SATA Port 0 hdd security code ST320lt020-9yg142" Can you tell me how to fix other than tech.
Ur bios feature may hav been given with security code, so what ever u connect may ask the same thing..first remove the security code n thn try it..!!
yeah!! he knows it has security code, the thing is he don't know how to unlock it that's why he is asking help an the same problem is with my laptop,i need help on how to remove the security code

you go in your bios to remove but your bios is probly locked pull the small main board battery out turn it on and off put battery back in its under one of the panel on the bottom..
