Hp photosmart c7280 won't scan wirelessly. Only when I am connected through a USB cable am I able to Scan. I spent (don't laugh) 7 hours on the phone with HP tech support, only to end up right back where I started. I can print from my computer wirelessly, but it doesn't recognize the all-in-one printer/scanner when I try to scan wirelessly.
I am exhausted from uninstalling, and re-installing the software, only to see that there are at least 3 files that won't load. hpzst5ha.dll, and hpzui5ha.dll. Wasn't able to copy the 3rd file before my computer restarted.
I am using an HP Compaq Nx7400 with Windows XP OS

I am not an expert, only a c7280 user. I use my printer wirelessly and was having problem scanning when using the controls directly on the printer (scan menu). By trial and error, I tried scanning by going to HP solution center on my computer and just followed the directions from the scan menu. That worked. If you can print wirelessly, you can scan wirelessly. I agree the HP support is a huge waste of time. I only get mad talking to them.
