Driver problem I've recently purchased a Sony Vaio pcv-rs720g and installed windows xp pro on it and its not recognizing my ethernet cord. it has the yellow question mark and exclamation point over my whole "other devices" tab in my device manager it includes my eithernet controller,multimedia video controller,pci device, sm bus controller, my usb contoller and my video controller (vga compatable). do you know where i can download the driver to fix this?? THNX

You can see every driver for your model.
If you are unable to get online due to no Nic Driver or other reason I suggest downloading the Nic Driver from another PC and transfer it o your laptop by USB Thumbdrive or other media.

If you dont have another PC thats online, you can buy a USB NIC but only spend money if you have nobody to help you with this.

If you are not sure what driver to download because of multiple download options for the same part (aka Video) you can use a program like EVEREST that can ID hardware better than Windows can.

Just another suggestion, you should install your INF Chipset for the Motherboard first before any other Driver. Its always best to start from the bare level before just picking parts out randomly.
