I was having the same prob, I did what you said to do, and POOF!~ it worked :)
ACTUALLY THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM CREATED DUE TO PROBLEM OF YOUR CMOS BATTERY. U HAVE TO SUGGEST U CHANGE YOUR CMOS BATTERY. AND TRY DEFINITELY IT WON'T AGAIN PRESS F1 TO REBOOT YOUR SYSTEM. GOOD LUCK PURUSHOTAM
You can reset the bios to factory defauts by removing the battery from the motherboard and then replacing it. The battery is small flat and silver. You will have to release it from the slot. Good Luck
