Hello!

This issue relates to an error with the PHD (Photoconductive) Unit. To resolve this error please try the following steps:

1. Turn the printer off.

2. Wait 10 seconds.

3. Turn the printer on.

4. Determine if the issue still occurs.

5. If 007-340 or 007-341 Restart Printer Error recurs please remove the PHD Unit and remove any packaging.

To Remove PHD Unit:-> Remove the Paper Tray

-> Open the front cover.

-> Put a piece of paper on the transfer belt to protect it from scratches and from light damage. Do not cover the left and right of the belt guards with the paper.

-> Rotate the four stoppers of the PHD counter-clockwise 90 degrees to release the locks

-> Remove the PHD unit toward you by pulling it by the left and right handles.

-> Lift up the PHD unit from the printer. Be careful to avoid scratching the transfer belt.

-> Remove the packing tape by pulling straight out

Reinsert the PHD.

-> Close the front cover.

6. If error recurs with the PHD Unit re-seated please try another PHD from a working 2130CN Laser Printer (if available).

7. If issue recurs after trying another PHD or no PHD Unit is available, please call Dell Technical Support to advise.

SOURCE: My Dell 962 Photo Printer gives error when trying to photocopy.

Hi,

The issue you are experiencing with your printer i.e error 2200 is related to "Scan Carrier Stall error" I believe the steps mentioned below will fix the issue,

1. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
2. Disconnect the power supply from the back of the printer.
3. Wait 15 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power supply to the back of the printer.
5. Plug the power cord back into the wall socket.

  1. Go to www.support.dell.com.
  2. Click on Drivers & Downloads.
  3. Under Option 2: Select a Product as printers .
  4. Locate the printer(s) 962 printer and click Go.
  5. Select an Operating System that is installed in your computer then choose downloads and look for Firmware.
  6. Download and install the firmware, then restart the computer and the printer, however please make sure that you do not restart your computer and the printer when the download and the installation is in progress.
I would appreciate if you could let me know if you have refilled the black cartridge, cause Dell printer often give error messages if the cartridges are refilled and not replaced with an original Dell one. If you have done so please replace the cartridge with a genuine Dell cartridge.

Regards
Malik Khan

SOURCE: Error message 50c on printer

I had the same error message 50c and "color Ink low". I knew that I still had Black Ink, and that is what I just needed for the moment, so I removed the color Ink cartridge and it started working. You'll get a message 'print cartridge missing' but just press continue.
Hope this helps,

SOURCE: RESTART Printer

The new magenta cartridge you put in is bad. If you put the old one back in then you get the low toner message. Take the new cartridge back and get another new one.  I found the answer on the dell troubleshoot website

SOURCE: dell a940 error code 50c

From doing my research, I have found that the 50C Error message comes from the cartridge, usually if it has been refilled. If this cartridge is new, please return it to the place of purchase for a new one or a refund.

Here's what happens when you refill the Dell Series 2 ink cartridges. There is a sensor in them that cannot be reset.

Dell ink cartridges can only be purchased at Staples, Walmart or Dell's website.

Dell ink cartridges have a sensor that reports the ink level as low once it reaches a certain level. The sensor can not be reset. If you refill an ink cartridge that previously reported low ink, it may print fine, but the sensor will always report low ink. Buying or replacing ink cartridges with new Dell cartridges will resolve the low ink message.

Dell discourages ink refills. Refilling ink may lead to print quality problems, and even eventual hardware problems.

if u have not refilled ur cartridge and u still get this error i suggest u buy a new cartridge.....

good luck
have a nice day
