Press the calendar/clock button
Hold the M+= button until the first digit of the date/time begins to blink
Set the time using this format- hh:mm
Set the date using this format- dd:mm:yyyy,
July 15, 08=15:07:2008 (I got this step wrong thinking the format was mm:dd:yyyy)
Press the M+= button again.

I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING THE INSTRUCTION TELL YOU TO DO ,NOTHING WORKS HELP!
Could not set date presses time then pressed clock date set
just as the book said still would not work.
Then I turned the unit over pulled small peice of paper below reset button
them pressed reset button
now i repeated steps above and unit works fine.
The clock SEEMS to reset, but then doesn't hold. Ditto the time. What key actually locks in the date/time I set?
