Hi could you tell me how to make my computer run faster and also i was deleting things from my computer trying to make it run fasted and ive deleted 19 drives from my tower and i dont know how to get them back ive tryed a system restore but it hasnt worked and i really dont know alot about computers many thanks sharon
Better not to just start deleting things if you don't know what you're deleting. It won't make it run faster, and can cause a lot of problems...go to windows update and run a manual update to check and see if they offer to replace some of the drivers you deleted. Depending on what you removed, you could run chkdsk c: /r (link here) or sfcscannow link here and here to repair the xp installation, or you might have to do a repair install of xp.
What you want to do to improve speed are maintenance and performance adjustments. See this article and this article. Stay away from registry cleaners. They won't help. See link here.
Finally, check to see how much ram is installed in your system. xp works best with 1gb of ram or more, depending on what your motherboard will allow. if you're attempting to get by with much less, you'll hit a ceiling when your hard drive starts to fill up that not much else will improve...
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Try the utility: Glary Utilities
It comes with with a bundle of accessories such as file shredding, temporary file removal, registry error fixing, registry defragmentation, and much much more. The utility is designed to help remove junk from your computer and speed it up. How much your computer speeds up depends on your computer's specifications and how much junk has accumulated. However, I'm pretty certain there will be a marginal increase in performance.
As for your, "drives..." Did you mean, "Drivers?" I doubt your computer had 19 partitions/hard-drives.
Let me know if you need any further assistance.
