Error code E70

The tumble dryer seems to be working well but after several cycles shows the error code E70. Can anyone advise what this means.

    Its a John Lewis JLTDC01

John Lewis replied to my question and said : Error code E70, typically means that there is a communication error with the outlet/inlet control thermistor that has an open or short circuit. You will need a certified professional to check the resistance of outlet/inlet control thermistor and check wiring for either short or open circuit.

SOURCE: Neptune Dryer PF Error Code

PF is a 'Power Failure' code meaning the dryer power may be interrupted. The plug receptacle may be bad. Check the plug for proper tension. If feels loose, have the receptacle replaced. Inspect the plug for discoloration. (a sign of a bad receptacle). If all looks OK, Check the power connections at the dryer. If looks OK the electronic control may be defective.

SOURCE: error code 9E What does that mean? Cannot find tech sheet

9E code is a door switch circuit problem.
You can check the wiring and connections and the door switch.
If the problem is not isolated to one or more of these parts then the control board is malfunctioning and must be replaced.
The manual states "unplug the dryer for 1 minute" "reconnect and if the problem re-occurs to check the components.
Maytag has a special circuit board that can be plugged in to evaluate the existing circuit board. Only Maytag certified techs have these test boards, and not all of them have it.
Check your door switch and wires.
The door switch is a inexpensive part compared to the cost of the circuit board. If in doubt, replace the door switch before proceeding.
Door switch part # y305753 and cost about $20.00

SOURCE: Electrolux dryer error code e61

There is a 'tech sheet' in the back pf the dryer. Unplug machine, Remove the access panel on the back to get to it. Reach in and it should be there. It will tell you how to do a button check. You have to enter a test mode through the buttons.
The E 61 is a stuck button.

Enter function test mode and perform key
stuck closed (active). (button) test to determine which button is at
fault. Carefully free the and perform the test
again. If button is free but the key struck code
still exists, replace electronic control.
