Hey guys, I was just mowing the lawn on my John Deere L130 Automatic Lawnmower. I have never had a problem with the machine. It has about 56 hrs of use. I did the annual maint. on it about a month ago (new oil and filter, air filter, etc.). I was driving horizontally on a moderate slope, which then became flat. I stopped, backed up to cut around the mailbox, and out of nowhere, the rpm of the engine shot through the roof. I quickly shut everything down, waited a few seconds, and restarted it, and it immediately returned to the high rpm. I adjusted the throttle to no avail. I thought I would see if it would move, so I mashed the pedal forward, and it took off at what I would say is 25% faster than normal full-throttle speed. I waited several minutes then started it up again, ...same thing. The engine sounds like it's going to explode or something. It is s somewhat intermittent revving. Help!
