My Saeco Royal Professional won't grind: "blocked grinder" message
Hello, I had exactly the same problem. In my case, it seems that the grinder was not ejecting the grounds into the doser with enough force to move the pressure plate and trigger the microswitch. My grinder motor might be wearing out, but I decided to try increasing the sensitivity of the microswitch before I spent so much. I replaced the microswitch, but that didn't solve the problem. Instead, I added a spacer (~2mm, but you'll have to play with it to adjust the pressure for your switch) between the doser pressure plate lever arm and the microswitch. That has been working very well for the last month. Very occasionally I get the same message again, but if I tell it to brew again the second grinding succeeds. I hope this helps!
I got the replacement microswitch at http://www.saecoparts.com/
I got great help from Gaggia service and i have a working machine.Their address is info@gaggia-service.co.uk
