Another post suggests that you printer is dead -see (http://www.fixya.com/support/t354202-epsom_rx_425_just_prints_half_page) but I've had the same problem - things seem to be ok after I reset to the defaults in the main page of the printing preferences.

margins are set wrong, or there are special
formatting marks and/or characters at the end
of your documents.
START --> Printers & Faxes -> Chose printer -->
right-click --> properties --> ....
This sets the default settings, that are in effect every time
an application starts up.
Also note, that if printer settings are not listed within
your START menu, you can find them in the Windows
control panel. You can change what shows in the
START menu and what doesn't by right-clicking the
task bar.
the file menu:
File --> Print --> Settings ...
File --> Printer settings ...
File --> Page setup .... and also margins. etc...
This sets the actual settings for this application or the
current document. These settings over-ride the global
default setting in item (2)
reflect the way you use the printer the most often.
The settings in item (3) reflect the actual document you
are trying to print now.
reflect the paper in the machine, do not confuse
metric sizes: A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 ....
with English sizes: Letter, Legal,..... etc
These do not line up exactly.
are no extra characters at the end of your document:
Paragraph marks, Page Brakes, Form Feeds, etc.
Also check the paragraph settings (in Word for Windows,
for example, to make sure that is not the cause of the
problem.
In word for Windows, for example, you can also go
into tools, options and change the way your document
is displayed, such that all formatting marks become
visible (or click on the paragraph tool)
of print PREVIEW facility, so that you can see what
you are going to get, before you physically print it.
I hope this solves your problem, please rate my answers.
Good luck.

My Epson SX205 shows ink cartridges empty, when they are not and or does not recognise them as being compatible. Is there software available to over ride this problem

The default paper height is 12". If you want to change it to 11" you should refer to printer manual and follow the steps. Otherwise if you are using a software for printing. Ask your developer to give following command for setting paper height
Chr(27) + Chr(67) + Chr(0) + Chr(11)
SOURCE: red light stays on and printer won't print
clydeanrev, First cancel everything that is waiting to print. Go to printers and faxes, open Epson C60, click printer and cancel all documents. That should make your green light stop flashing and stay on. The red light staying on means paper ran out, ink ran out or paper is jammed. Take the paper out and put it back in. Take the ink cartridges out and put them back in.
