Your dehumidifier has sensors to monitor for various conditions that may prevent the unit from operating in a normal manner
problem,the led display is showing e5, possible cause,over current protection..solution.unplug for 10.minutes then turn on the unit and if the e5 is still showing contact customer services or a dealer.

After cleaning the filter, i had to unplug the unit to clear the ch 67 error code before the unit would run again.

Does it show an error code on the display?

Had same erroe code in 2008. CH 01. Bucket Full light was flashing, but it was empty. Would not start. Called customer service and was advised it was most likely a compresser problem. In that compressoe was still in warranty took it to a lacal service center. Compressor was Ok, but had to replace Evap Thermister Board and Sensor. $120.00 in parts and $50.00 labor.
I am not an expert.

I've had to strap several buckets on with bungie cords; they shake some and the bucket full sensor thinks the bucket has been removed.

Had same problem. Ordered and installed new bucket switch. That solved the problem.
