an f61 error occurs on a Panasonic home theater system when the speaker cable wire connections are wrong. This situation is likely to happen if you just purchased your unit or moved the system and try to reconnect the speakers again. Polarity is key in a successful setup. There are no error codes in the users manual. In this series of models panasonic has standardized error code meanings. F61 means a failure in the power out circuits. Your first option is to remove all your speakers and the associated wiring with the power off. Repower unit and see if error is still there. If not, you have a speaker or wiring problem. If still there, you have an internal failure requiring service.
I'm sorry to say, but an F61 error can not be cleared by a reset. Please see the link below for an explanation of protect mode (F61 is Panasonic's version of protect).
