hi, check once again if it's E000-00-0081 code. i just looked in the service manual for that machine and there's no E000-00-0081 code. the only one pointing to E000 is this:
insufficent temperature rise of the fixing unit at power-on.
the one pointing to 0081 is:
p-sens-p when value of this position is lower than 255 it will indicate an error code: E020-0081.
you can check it in service mode which you can enter by pressing combination: *28*(star-28-star)
try specifing some more detailes, e.g. when it occurs
try to clear in service mode touch Additional funcion key then 2 8 at same time then additional func key again in that order screen should change to service mode then touch copier then function then clear then err then ok then turn off machine using main switch if it wont clear you have a bad fuser
Additional Functions>2 key>8 key>Additional Functions (each key is pressed seperately, unlike regular iR copiers) Go to Copier>Functions>Clear> Err_ or Err_Clr. An E000 is a fuser code.
E000: Fuser did not heat up. check Fuser lamp, check thermistor, check thermostat, if this parts ok try to reset the trouble code. to reset fuser errors, first shut power off and turn on again.
