removed the flex hoses from the pressure sensors and reinstalled them. Unit reset and now works perfectly.
SOURCE: my furnace is telling me
Hi,
If the pressure switch is open, that means that the inducer is not moving enough air to close it, the pressure switch is bad, or the heat exchanger may be cracked.
Check for air flow...go outside and see if air is coming out the vent pipe....make sure there is no water built up inside the vent pipe.
Make sure the air intake pipe is ope and not clogged if you have a two pipe system...
Check the small hoses by the furnace for cracks or water in the hoses...
Check for condensate buildup inside the heat exchanger...
A cracked heat exchanger can also cause a lack of pressure and or pressure differential....
If everything else checks out then you may have a bad pressure switch... they DO go bad...
Here is a tip that will help you try to figure out why yourfurnace is not working.
