It looks as if error code 311 refers to printing using a computer with Mac OS X. I've found a solution on Canon's website that may help you if this is the operating system you are using: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=238&modelid=17160

fault Code 093-311: Rotary Assembly Failure Solution : Power the Machine Off and On CAUTION: Wait at least 60 seconds between powering the machine off and then on again; otherwise, damage to the machine and the hard drive may occur.

Please take attention, this option is for soft reset, so Nokia Asha 311 will not removing any important data and installed applications. How soft reset Nokia Asha 311 work: It will recopy or restore the default copy of .ini to Nokia Asha 311.
