I need to buy a foot control/power cord and don't know which one to purchase.
Variable foot control==the farther you push it...the faster the machine goes....
non variable....only has stop...and run....
The variable speed foot will let control the speed that the material is feed through the machine. Similar to the way an accelerator pedal controls the speed of a motor vehicle.
The non-variable speed is more like a on/off switch and the machine will run at only one speed. The only control that you have is stop or go always at the same speed.
