If you are referring to DSTV , you could try to turn off the decoder for at least 20 seconds and turn it back on. If the error does not clear after 3 minutes, you need to contact customer service. E30 code refer to a subscription status check.

An error in NP 6050
E030 Does pertain to the total copy counter.If you have changed the dc controller & copy counter & still get the E030 error, you may have to enter the service mode to release the error. In service mode under *4* (function) advance to the error screen & press the star button. If you do not know how to get into service mode you can email me at bspier@carlsonsupplies.com or call Bill @ 315-701-1279 Please put canon 6050 E030 in subject line in case my email dumps it into the junk folder.
