I have a set of Cerwin-Vega VE12's, powered by a Crown XLS 202. I am a DJ and I have a Denon X900 Mixer, a dbx 1215 graphic equalizer and Monster Pro 900 power conditioner. I have two technics 1200's and a Denon D600 CD player and controller. My problem is that I have already run through to sets of speakers on this configuration and I'm getting distortion (sounds like a blown or blowing midrange speaker) on the left channel. Now that I recall, the other sets of speaker had the same distortion and blew on the left channel. The Crown owner's manual suggests getting a compressor, which I'm open to. How do I lick this once and for all? Thanks, Geof
